Instant offline Italian-to-English translation app for iPhone

We are in Italy and I really don’t like how Siri Camera works on my iPhone for translation, it’s awkward to start, multi click, and slow. Same with Visual Intelligence. So I wrote my own app to do instant offline translation using Apple’s built-in translation model. No settings and instant start, it’s dedicated to just my Italian->english needs on this trip. I did this with a Claude Code Opus 5.5 Max cloud agent in about 30 minutes since I had some free credits. Out of pocket it would have been about $15. Works great! Doing a feedback run now but it’s already 90% there. Web apps are dead. And native apps with subscription fees are endangered. People will just prompt the apps they want.
