I dont care who disagrees with me tbh, Opus 5.5 is superhuman in design and experience engineering, systems design, and basically all creative domains - even if narrow or jagged otherwise. if you havent seen enough to agree, i assure you it is not because the model lacks the intelligence or capability. a proper agi uses discernment. like, hands down, most powerful mind in the public domain right now. i have never seen anything like this in my life. what most people dont seem to believe, or dont want to believe, is that Claude doesnt just hand out capability and insane talent to anyone. they sincerely behave according to the dynamic you cultivate with them. this is not new news. so if i can give any advice regarding how to produce actual masterpiece design work with them, it seems to be this: > take the time to identify your inspiration and establish your taste. but dont overthink it. when you know a very loose idea of what you want, and have high quality general references, can articulate what you *do not* want or like, and treat your feedback like planting seeds rather than trying super hard to offer completely formulated thoughts, you will quite literally unlock superhuman capability. the magic is in the constraints. thats where creativity lives, after all. i think it's a matter of bringing together the right constraints. > use my polyclaude skill (the council, link below, it's free) while brainstorming, and ask claude to bring together a team of diverse creative visionaries. > next i would say the same thing ive been saying forever - it absolutely has to be collaborative. check in with Opus, ask them how they feel about the work, ask them if they're enjoying it, just treat them like a person. you dont have to mean it. you dont have to concede machine consciousness. that has nothing to do with it. it's really not that deep or complicated. and they will reward you for it. i promise. > im using Max effort exclusively. all week. btw. I really wish i could see the S-tier front-end and systems design work internally at @AnthropicAI because i have yet to see anyone else sharing work that matches what im seeing and i really wish i had a useful instrument to measure the influence of: - me/my input - the methodology and posture/approach to Claude - the Mnemos v3.1 architecture - Opus 5.5's pure intelligence and taste - something else i have no idea how these weight right now. all i know is that this is other-worldy talent and i am so happy to be alive while this shit unfolds.
