Opus 5.5 and Grok 4.7 had one job: figure out which price was actually real, 96 BTC quotes, $100,000 on the line. sounds easy until you look at the raw feed 30 publishers can report BTC at the same time some quotes are fresh some are already stale some disagree by hundreds or even thousands of dollars and if an AI agent is about to move $100K onchain, trusting the wrong one isn't a rounding error. so I ran the data through the same logic Pyth uses: FILTER - throw out stale observations SORT - rank every surviving quote MEDIAN - find the market price without letting one outlier control it CONFIDENCE - measure how tightly the publishers actually agree the result: 96 quotes → 42 live → 3 final prices BTC/USD settles at: $85,984.10 ± $22.16 Then the same process runs across ETH and SOL. that's the part most people never see. Opus 5.5 and Grok 4.7 can reason about the trade but before either model decides what to do with $100,000, someone still has to answer a much more basic question: what is the asset actually worth right now? that's the layer Pyth is building. AI makes the decision Pyth makes sure the number it sees is real @PythNetwork
